Hi All,

Trying to connect between XP Pro Sevice Pack 2 and Vista and getting this message:

A Remote Assistance Could not be established. You may want to check for netwrok issues or
deteramine of the invitation expired or was cancelled by the person who sent it.

The inviration was send via the MS MSN (Windows Live Messenger). The person with
the Vista opened port 3389.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Joe

Just to add to Joe's message...

The Vista version is Ultimate 64 bits, we are able to make connection with other Vista computers outside the network, but nothing between an XP Pro SP2 to this Vista Ultimate 64.

Port 3389 is opened, and Remote Assistant/Desktop exceptions are created in Windows Firewall and the fact that other connections are possible between Vista OS, tells me that there is not ports problems.

The XP pro workstation is using RD 6.0 version 925876.
