Remote Computer Administration

Trying to remotely administer another machine using
Computer Management (mmc). Both machines are not on a
domain, but are in the same workgroup. When "Connect to
another computer..." is selected in Computer Management,
and the other machine's name is entered, I receive
an "Access is denied" message.

What must I do in order to manage the other machine?

Thanks for the response Leonard,

This machine already has Remote Desktop enabled. I can
log on remotely using RD with no problem, but still no
luck with Computer Management.

This machine does have a user account with the same name
as my other machine, but this does not really seem to
matter...

This machine (BASEMENT) in the workgroup (HOME) does not
seem to like to accept connections from the other
(POSITRON), also in the workgroup (HOME).

How can I add POSITRON\Administrator to BASEMENT's
user/access list, so that I can remotely administer
BASEMENT from POSITRON?...

Even if u connect as administrator on Basement??(not as user with admin
rights). To see what rights u have, check in Computer Panel--Users--Changing
Accounts--and see for each account/computer
But, I'm sure if u connect as administrator with proper password should
work. (Positive... ) in this way I administrate a server at 295 Km)
