Remote Assistant

Can someone point me in the right direction
I would like to use Remote Assistance on an XP pro system
But I cant make a connection in Messenger I have tied through outlook
but the message we get is
"Remote Assistance connection could not be established. Please try again."
the other PC has XP home

Are there any good instructions on setting up the machines or can anybody
explain whats going wrong
