Remote assistance

I am trying to connect with my mum computer,I click onto the attchment on the
email then I type the password. It then say attemping to connect to the
computer,a message say A remote assistance connection could not be
established. You may want to check for network issues or determine if
invitation expired or was cancelled by the person who sent it. Nether the
invitation had expired nor the person cancelled the invitation. can someone
help me please.
