I am having a problem trying to get my son computer to work so that I can
offer remote assistance; we both have win xp pro and we installed sp2; my
computer have the remote assistance tab shown in the system properties and
his does not show it so he cannot click to allow remote assistance; he tried
registering the regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\remotepg.dll; also checked his
services start>run and type in services.msc and scroll down to session
manager but that was not listed; then start >run type in sfc /scannow to copy
any system filed that might be missing or corrupt and still no remote tab;
any other sugestions? thanks

Is your son's PC an upgraded machine that went from XP Home to XP Pro? If so
its possible the upgrade did not go right and something got hosed up so to
speak. You might try a repair install to see if that fixes the issue... Note
the warnings on the page and backup important data to be safe...
