Did any one know if win 2000 can be set to use remote assistance application? Win XP can, the function is good, over internet, problem PC can be connected to tech support and the problem viewed direct. it is so easy to fix problem in this way. Can anybody tell me if this can be done on other OS like win 2000 PC?

That feature first became available in XP. 2000 does not have that
capability. RDP (remote desktop protocol) is available and you can use a 98
or 2k machine to connect to a XP or 2003 machine to control it.
