I'm trying to use the Remote Assistance feature between two Windows XP
SP1 computers in separate domains. I can offer remote assistance to a
computer in the other domain and it starts to connect , but stops with
a login prompt, as if I was doing a Remote desktop connection instead
of a remote assistance. This is usually where the HelpAssistant
account automatically logs in to begin the RA session. No matter what
I try to log in as, it does not initiate the remote assistance
session. Has anyone seen this or have any solutions on how to fix it?
(And yes, my policies and remote desktop users are all correctly
defined to allow remote assistance) Thanks,
Tim
