Remote assistance question

Hi,

I posted earlier but do not see my post here, so pls excuse me if it shows
up twice. When using Remote Assistance to fix someone's computer, can you
remove viruses and hijackers?

I would think you would be able to do anything that the user can do and see
using Remote Assistance.
