Remote Access Problem

Greetings! I am unable to accept remote access requests on my wireless laptop. The requests were sent to a webmail account which I then accessed from my desktop unit, both units are Dells purchased at the same time, and was able to accept the request and worked for several hours on the other system. I sent a second request from desktop as a test and experienced the same results on my laptop.

I open the request file, click yes on the "do you want to offer assistance/connect" dialogue, the window starts to open, and I get the "windows has experienced a problem and must close. do you want to send an error report yes/no/debug" dialogue. Any ideas as to why my desktop will accept them and my laptop won't?
