Remote access of UPS Thermal 2442 Printer

I am trying to add a UPS Thermal 2442 printer on a remote
user on a peer to peer network running Windows XP Pro.
The printer is configured as a shared printer and is
attached to a system running Windows 98. The printer can
be see on another system on the network likewise running
Windows98. When adding the printer to the WinXP system I
get a message "The server for the "UPS Thermal 2442"
printer does not have the correct printer driver
installed. If you want to search for the proper driver,
click ok. Otherwise click cancel and contact your network
administrator or original equipment manufacturer for the
correct driver." I have disabled driver signing and still
get the same error message.

The XP PC cannot use the Windows98 drivers. You must look for an updated
Windows XP driver on the manufacturer's website (failing that, a Windows
2000 driver).

Expand the file into a temporary folder, try the install again and when it
asks where the drivers are, point it at the temporary folder you just
created with the expanded files in it.
