"reminder" internet explorer cannot display webpage,

How can I stop this annoying windows popup from apperaing on my desktop?

Title Bar "reminder Wednesday (or whatever is the current time and date),
June 21, 2006 7:44 PM"

"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"

If I am not trying to access a webpage then why does this seemingly
ludicrous message persist continously and often.

Go to Start | Run | Msconfig, click the Startup tab, and look for an
item with "reminder" in its name. If you find it, un-check the box to
prevent it from running on future boots.
