ReLoad of XP Problem

I have a co-worker that recently reloaded her home system (she had mucho
bugs) and is now having problems with getting to her updates. When she goes
to the windows update site and tried to download, it givers her an error
message (I ahve asked her to send this tom me, but for right nowits an 8000
code ending in 36...if that helps at all! LOL). Also it will not allow her
to import her favorites into explorer, saying that she does not have
permission.

Any ideas?
