Reinstalling XP Pro

I bought a new larger hard drive and would like to
transfer the data and XP to the new hard drive and make
this drive the boot up and or primary drive C drive. I
am having problems with making the new disk as the boot
up disk, I think becasue XP is not allowing me to. Any
advice?
 
What size HD?
If it's over 137meg... you may be having problems
outlined in Articles 303013, 297185, 331958
