I sold one of my extra computers to someone. I upgraded
the OS from XP Home edition to XP pro. I forgot to give
him the password to get on and instead of asking me for
it, he tried starting from scratch with the XP Pro
(upgrade) disk that I supplied to him. He says it is now
asking for the original Home ed. disk, but the computer
itself came installed with the home edition and didn't
have the disk. He says that he can't get out of this
process.
Is there a way for him to install or stop the process.
Any advice is appreciated.
