Reinstalling XP on new Hard drive

D

Dan

i have Windows XP installed on my Laptop which has a 10GB
Hard Drive in a removable bay. I want to upgrade to a
40GB Hard drive for more space. Can I install the
original Windows XP on the new hard drive without a new
license? (I do want to keep both Hard drives in use).
Thanks! Dan

Yes you can. You could also use a program like Drive Copy and just clone
one HD to the other.
