Reinstalling XP Home Edition

I used DriveERASE Pro to clean the hard drive in preparation to donate an old
computer. I elected the DriveErase Pro option of overwriting the hard drive
seven times and then reformatting the hard drive. I have a Windows XP Home
Edition SP2 recovery CD, but when I boot up the computer I get the following:

Searching for Boot Record from CDROM..OK

Non-system disk, press any key...

How can I get XP Home Edition installed?

Thank you.

sounds as if you havn't deleted the hard disk partitions and do not have a
boot from CD option activated in your bios.
