Reinstalling Windows Vista

I purchased Windows Vista in Feb. 2007. A couple of months ago it started
doing goofy things and Best Buy suggested that I uninstall and reinstall and
then get updates. I have backed up all my files. Question 1) After
reinstalling, which updates should I install? I saw several on the download
site. 2) Will I lose my printer hookup by doing this? Thanks.

Which updates?....I'd assume, all of them....from the Windows Update site
which would be done automatically provided you had the automatic
updates turned on.

Don't install any hardware drivers from Microsoft's site. Always obtain the
correct drivers for your hardware and O/S from the manufacturer's site.

1) You don't really uninstall
2) Are all of you system driver disk available?
3) Do they all support Vista?
4) If so.. Boot to DVD and Delete the partition that contains your existing
Install.
5) Reinstall Vista
6) Install you drivers for Motherboard and Video
7) Microsoft Update everything.
8) Plug in you printer. If your lucky Vista has a driver for it.
if it doesn't get one from the Printer maker.

Good Luck.
