reinstalling drivers after reformat

I (finally) reformatted my computer, and am wondering if I should use the
install disks that came with the machine for the drivers, or get the latest
updates...and how do I know which ones need to be installed anyway...Thanks

For device drivers, it's recommended to use the disks provided when you
purchased the system. For Windows Update hotfixes, visit
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
