Reformat HD in another computer?

My restore CD's that came with computer "A" won't reformat the HD in it. If I
remove the HD and reformat it in computer "B"(using the restore CD that came
with that computer) ,will I encounter a problem when returning the HD to
computer "A",as the computers have OEM XP installed and obviously have
different COA's?

Thanks for any help

No, that won't be a problem. You might, however, just remove the partition
as the restore CD will likely recreate a specific layout.

Patrick,

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit of a rookie at this...when and where would I
do that(remove the partition)?

Thanks
