Reinstalled Outlook ~ has holdover problem

After uninstalling Norton System works (Correctly) My
outlook won't receive anything, but sends OK.

[1] Have double checked the acct details
[2] Have uninstalled/reinstalled Office three times. No
errors when receiving, it says it is done and there was no
mail (on the ISP Server), even though I know there is.
[3] If I try to resend an Email that went out when Norton
was active, it says it can't find the acct and gets me to
use the current acct. then sends OK (Hidden acct?)
[4] Installed Outlook Express, with same details, worked
fine first time (I hate OE)

Any Ideas?
Outlook seems to be using something on my computer for
Acct info and I can't change it.

Many thanx

Perhaps Norton doesn't like Outlook, where it is supposed
to do some work.
It might not even filter your mail in Express, which
therefor works fine.

Try getting McAfee. I use it (you get free updates too)
with Outlook 2003 and it works perfectly. It filters out
those spammers sending virus mail.
