Reinstall xp with partitions

I need to reinstall xp on my boot drive. This drive has
two partions that I set up with partition magic. My
question is, when I reinstall xp will it reset the hard
drive back to one partition or will it leave the drive
with the two partitions intact? Thanks for anyone's help

Unless you ask it to, it will leave the disk as it finds it, assuming the
partition you want it to install in is appropriate.
