reinstall xp over xp that does not have service packs

My present installation is xp corporate edition that has service packs
1 & 2 installed.

I need to reinstall , but do not have original corporate edition disk.
I DO have my original purchased copy of XP Professional.

Would it be possible to install my original XP over the existing XP
installation, even though original does not have the Service Pack
upgrades?

You need to slipstream your original cd with SP2. However, I do not know
whether your XP Pro will do a Repair Install on your "corporate"
edition. You need to "match" the editions such as OEM-to-OEM,
retail-to-retail. You may need to do a Clean Install. Here are links to
