Hi, I have reinstalled windows xp pro, but I cant seem to find my old files
on my computer, it shows that are 5GB of stuff but i cant seem to find
them.....

Sam

What old files? music, pictures, text, video?.. have you tried searching
using file extensions?..

They are pictures and text files, I did search for them but i cant find them.
When i check the hard disk space it says that 7GB is used out of 20GB, but
when i click all the directores on my hard drive it says 2GB, so where is the
5GB went??

If you did a reinstall, then the Windows and Files and Settings Folders were
replaced and all that was in the folders are lost. If you elected to do a
repair install, try taking ownership. Sounds like you did the reinstall
though.
