Reinstall networking components

Here's the scenario: XP Media Center Edition. Got three virus warnings from
a website. Cleaning the virii somehow deleted file or files needed for
TCP/IP to function. How can I re-install those files, not knowing exactly
what they are? The symptom is no network connectivity. ipconfig /all gives
an error processing the request.
