reinstall issue

I recently had to reinstall xp on my laptop.
I did not reformat the drives but rather made another install. ( i had not
performed a back up recently and did not want to loose my programs ) Is there
a way to move my user and admin accounts over to the new install?
 
In xp,install xp cd,select perform other actions,select File Transfer Wizard
Set pc as old,select files/settings,etc to collect,save data in new folder
you
created,once its thru,move folder to cd.Run FTW in new OS,set as new pc,
also,always run from xp cd...
