regtool.exe

Help
I have a 6910p HP laptop and everytime I boot up the machine I get a
regtool.exe error message. I don't have Pinnacle Studio Version 8, which is
what the web seems to think. The error logs tell me nothing. I have
reimaged the machine but still get the same error message.
Can anyone help.
 
Actually, you didn't tell us what the error message was either. Please
post the error message verbatim.
