registry setting to open "maximized" when starting IE6

When I starte Interent Explorer I will have, in the upper
right corner, 3 figures a line or uderscore _ single box
and a box with X in it. If I click on the middle box I
get a "Maximized" view, which I want. In "VIEW" (third
from the left on the upper bars, there is "FULL SCREEN" I
don't want this, all I want is "MAXIMIZED". If I close
the IE6 when it is maximized, even while holding the shift
then close button and restart IE6 it comes up maximized.
If I have rebooted the computer and go to Internet
Explorer and open it up, it is back to less than maximized
again and I have to click on the upper right middle button
to get the 2 boxes(windows) indicating it is in maximized
position.

Surely there is some registry setting I can incorporate
that tells Internet Exlporer that when it opens that it's
default size should be Maximized?

Thanks for any help..not really a great problem, just
annyoying.

Open IE. Stretch it to the size you want. Close IE. Open it again. Close it.
Reboot. Open it again and it should be at whatever size you have stretched
it to.

Keep in mind that IE will remember the setting of the last windows that you
stretched.
It must be closed last.
