Opening IE6 maximized?

I would like to open IE6 maximized. Google Usenet search revealed that one
technique is to change the .html association to open with path specified as
"...\iexplore.exe" -nohome %1

Then OK > Close > Close.
Then if I reinspect that spec I find that the %1 is missing. Consequently,
IE6 will not open maximized. Why is this happening? How can I open IE6
maximized?

.
When IE opens instead of using the MAX bar to make it
full size. Drag the corners and make it as large as
possible. Close, and re-open it
