Registry edits for outlook pst

M

Marleneburton

my outlook program sees my pst files on another drive

I have all my documents and my mail on another drive.

I can't change the default - normally this is easy but it will not accept
the correct path.

I want to go into the registry and set the default there. What key do I edit
and how do I do it.

You have to go into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles and browse each key
looking for the ones with the path - but the chances are high you'll just
screw up your profile.

Did you try closing outlook and going through control panel, mail to change
it?
