Registry Editor problem

Hi,

I have a problem with Registry Editor in normal bootup, the editor will only
stays for few seconds brfore it closes by itself, and I realise that it
always highlight to a particular entry. However, when in Safe Mode, it works
fine. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to resolve this? Thank you
