Registration Change

How do I change the name in which my computer is registered? When I try to
change it I receive an error message saying that system folders are attached
to this and not allowed to change. I have a real problem with the name.

Name it is "registered to" or the username?
Two different things.

One is a registry entry.
The other is easiest done by creating a new user and after moving things to
that user, deleting the old one.
