of windows xp home edition(i own the version) to an old laptop that was using
windows 2000.. ok it downloaded fine.. the only problem is that it needs to
connect to the internet to register and get my windows xp running... the
thing is i now use a wireless adsl connection...how do i connect to net when
i cant even get to the connection options??? they came up once and i clicked
"dont dial" option..... i cant even get to safe mode when it starts up
.....anyone have any ideas on how i can connect to the net with my correct
options?? hope you can help..regards, jodie

The next time it says to activate your copy of Windows XP. Select the option
which means "later" and click Next.
Once you login you can connect to the internet and activate your copy of
Windows XP.
