REGISTERING SOFTWARE

Is there anyway to disable registering of NT or XP with MS. I've heard it
can be done.

Yes, just cancel or decline when prompted. If you mean activation then
that's a different story.

No I mean the other story.

There is no activation as far as Windows NT goes. Yes you'll need to
activate Windows XP sometime within the first 60 days of so.
