registering outlook express as email program

When I removed my 'outlook' program, it erased E-mail
entry field in the internet options dialog of explorer.
The Newsgroups field still contain the 'Outlook Express'
option. How do I get the E-mail to include 'Outlook
Express' again? Any help is appreciated.
 
Click Start | Run | "msimn /reg"
