Registered Software

I purchased some older used Microsoft software and am
trying to find out if there is a way to find out if it
has already been registered to someone. If so, as long
as I have the original cd, can I register it in my name
or legally use/own it??
 
Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

This is the MS Access (the database program) newsgroup. Try
annexcafe.general.user2user newsgroup or a general Microsoft newsgroup.
