Regedit will not stay open

In another post I askes a question and the reply was to
check the regestry. So I went to run Regedit. Bit it will
only open for about a second and a half, then it closes
itself. How can i keep it open???

Ran the search for the virus, it was not found on my
system. any other ideas?

The behavior you've described is typical behavior of more than one
virus/worm, the three below being the most common:
