Regedit Will Not Run

Just occured -
Start-Run-Regedit I get:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005),
Click on OK to terminate the application.
What happened?
Any other way to edit the registry?
 
Did you try again? Did you reboot and try again? Was this a one time error?
