Regedit Advice Please

I've posted several times in the last six months regarding a problem I've
yet to resolve. My computer "freezes" about every two to three weeks--only
when playing Spider Solitaire. The game is played many times every day, but
somewhere around the 100th time, Windows locks up. There is an audible click
or bump from the hard drive, then no mouse, no keyboard, no recourse but to
power off.
I'm confident that it is not caused by the video card or drivers, and every
other Windows function and software program works flawlessly.
I tried uninstalling Windows games, then reinstalling them a week later. To
my surprise, all of my game statistics were still there, leading me to
wonder if the games had ever really been "uninstalled."
My question: Is there a safe way to delete all references to Spider
Solitaire from the Registry and, in effect, perform a "clean reinstall" of
the game?
If so, where do I look?
Thanks for any advice.

It would be in either,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/software/microsoft &/or
LOCAL_USER/software/
Youre best bet though would be to use "search" in my computer, list hidden
files/folders,locate solitare and delete the files once its removed from
add/remove programs.

If the games are uninstalled, should Spider.exe still be found in the System
32 folder? If it is, should it just be "deleted"? I'd like to get a "clean
install" of a fresh copy of Spider.exe.
