Regarding history

I have tried to delete my history of websites but have
failed to do so. even after changing the dates, clearing
the history, etc. please advise on how to remove my
previous websites. thanks a lot (send reply to email
after removing wats in the brackets, thank u)

With no IE windows open, try it from Control Panel> Internet Options>
General> Clear History.

You might need to delete the damaged History folder- a new one will be
created on restart.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder in Windows 9x,2K, XP.

Another program might be locking your history.

The ActiveX filter of McAfee (and possibly other) anti-virus programs can
interfere with the history function of IE. Just disable the ActiveX filter.
