refreshing windows explorer automatically

is there any way that windows explorer will automatically
display information reflecting recent file changes rather
than us having to go throught the laborious
manual "refresh" sequence. even xtree had such a feature,
and that was on very slow systems without much ram.

There is always the keyboard which saves two mouse clicks;
I.E. pressing CTRL button and letter R, which you can do
with one hand does the refresh. CTRL and A selects all.
The underlined letter in dropdowns is the keyboard
shortcut, as it were, to mouse clicking. Keep in mind that
you can run your computer without a mouse.

What I'm waiting for is the OS to come out where all I
have to do is say refresh etc.
