Refresh DNS database

Victor

I have a DNS 2000 server that is not updating ip address.
It's still showing the old ip address for computers. Is
there a way to make it refresh so that the new ips are
shown. Refresh under the zone didnt work neither reload.

Thank you,
Victor

I have the same problem stated by victor resolved by your suggestion. I
would like to avoid having to go to each workstation and running
ipconfig/registerdns, will this resolve itself over time or is there a
automatic way of doing this. Also is there any security issuse changing from
secure dynamic updates to allow all dynamic.
Thanks for your help

The zone is allowing dynamic updates and I have performed
ipconfig /registerdns and it has not updated it. I had
done this before i post it this message so I know is not
time that I have to wait.

Thanks

In the client's IP properties, do you have this DNS server as the only
entry?
