Reformatting Hard Drive

R

Rob Kisstoth

My laptop which operates with Windows XP Professional is
set up with the hard drive formatted as Drive C & Drive D.
Drive C contains all program files, while drive D
contains mostly documents. I would like to reallocate
space from drive D to C as C is almost filled with data.
Is there any way to do this? Or must I reformat the disc
as C drive only and how do I do that without losing my
data?

Any ideas or help would be apprecated as I am about to
lose any space available on drive C.

You'll need a program such as Partition Magic or BootIt in order to
partition "on the fly," which is what you are wanting to do. That is
partition without destroying any data on the partitions.
