Refill Brother LC51 ink -- MFC-465CN

I have a Brother MFC-465CN printer, which I just change the separate
ink cartridges for the first time (since the original set up.) I now
have empty cartridges and I wonder if I should get them refilled. I
main you my printer to print from the web and sometimes photos on
photo paper.

Would I consider refilling these?

Absolutely not. Brother is bad enough so you should at least use the ink
that was designed for it.

If you only print as infrequently as your post suggests, it probably
doesn't make sense for you. You could still seek out a local refiller
such as Cartridge World that provides refills for about 50% and
guarantees their work. In my opinion, refilling works best when you
print regularly and use lots of ink. Then you can overcome the
learning curve on your specific models and become an expert. There are
some helpful hints around, but some have to be learned first hand. It
also helps to have a supply of donor cartridges to work with and
experiment with during the process. Once perfected, the process is
seamless and easy.
