Referenced memory warning

I checked this on Goggle w/o any luck...What does this warning window mean:
Ox7c9106c3 referenced memory Ox6c14f6fa? It opened up while I was doing a
spell check on a NG post.

I have an HP Professional Desk Top computer, 2 years old in October, on
which is XP Pro Sr 2, Office 2003, all updates current (including today's to
scan my system for "malicious" invasions from MS...which I really didn't
want to do, but... I use Avast, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and Windows firewall
is ON.

Nothing has shown as a problem in any of the above.

It starts with a zero, not an oh. I don't have an answer, but there are
many hits on Google Groups.

Since, if you add Office, or Outlook to the search (the two I
suspected), there's no hits, I wonder if it's a hardware or memory
problem. I didn't look through the eight hits on the error message though.

Click Start, Run, type SFC /SCANNOW, click OK. If any files are damaged
or missing, they'll be replaced. You may need to reboot afterwards so
damaged files will be replaced.

oh sorry, what does SFC mean, please? since I'm of limited vision, I'm very
careful I don't get myself into something I may have easily done "before,"
but not a good idea now.;-))

SFC is System File Checker. I just thought it might repair a system
file and solve your problem.
