Reducing items in taskbar

Hi,

Everytime I start Windows, a whole bunch of programs
start and appear as icons on the taskbar by the clock.
This is causing the computer ages to load all the
programs evrytime it starts.

I know there is a way of deleting the files from the
taskbar everytime Windows starts but I can't remember.

Can anyone please help me? Thanks

Go to START > RUN and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter. Then look
under the STARTUP tab for programs you do not want to start. Uncheck
those and click APPLY.

start-->run--> msconfig

find the startup tabb click fore hide windows services and remove the
ones you dont need/want
