Taskbar and Start Menu

When I double on the Taskbar and Start Menu in the control
the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties appears-Nent when I
clicked on the buton named Customized it shows the Current
Items and just below it the Past Items.How do I delete the
Past Items icons from this area?

Can you highlight the icon, press the right mouse button
and select "delete" from the window menu that pops up?
