Redo Win XP Pro SP3 workgroup "share" access

I have a simple home network with usually 2 PCs (both with Windows XP
Pro SP3 / IE8.) They are part of a standard workgroup (MSHOME.) This
past week-end I finally was able to replace the defunct second PC
(motherboard died) and I am re-connecting this new PC to the network.
The problem is that this PC (PC-2) can not access my "main" PC (PC-1)
"shared" folders but PC-1 can access PC-2 "shared" folders.

What are the steps I need to do in order to check the correct settings
and fix it so that either can access to work from either?

Hi
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.

Oops! I was attempting to re-do the "Simple File Sharing" manually.
I was able to see the PC-2 folder from PC-1 but not the revise. It
never "dawned" on me to re-run the Network "wizard" the Microsoft
provided. Once I ran this on PC-1, all fixed itself.
