redirecting add/remove programs

Hello,
Can someone tell how to redirect my add/remove program icon. Long story
made short..... I used to have 2 hard drives but the main one died. the
second hard drive (which was a ghost (almost) of the original hard drive)
add/remove programs points to the other (non existent) hard drive.
The add/remove window says there are no programs installed.

I forgot to ask... my original hard drive makes a clicking sound. anyone
know what that means? (no puns please, I know its not gonna blow up!)
