Red X on icon

In my "Add or Remove Programs" I noticed a red X on the upper right side
of the icon for "Adobe Flash Player Active X".
Could someone please inform me what the red X signifies? Is it telling me
this program is not working and should I remove it?
System: Acer 2450 laptop
Windows XP - Home - SP3
Explorer 7
(in Add or Remove Programs):
- Adobe Flash Player Active X
- Adobe Reader 8.1.2
- Adobe Shockwave Player 11

That's just the way they designed the icon. A red X for Active X. Not to
worry.
