Red question mark

Using Outlook 2003, in my Inbox I have an unread message with a red question
mark to the left of the unread icon.

What does it mean?

Using Outlook 2003, in my Inbox I have an unread message with a red
question
mark to the left of the unread icon.

There are several columns to the left of the message icon. In which of
those columns do you see the question mark? What symbol appears in the
column header and what does the tooltip show when you hover the cursor over
that column header?

Just to be sure;
question mark (?)
or exclamation mark (!)

In case of the last, it means that the message was sent with high priority.
In case of the first, answering Brian's questions would be helpful or even
post a screenshot if it is hard to describe.
